Yesterday R was humming a bit of the soundtrack in the kitchen and I instantly harmonised with him. It was one of the first TV series we collected on DVD after he moved here and getting into it together (he'd seen it before, I think, but I hadn't) was wonderful. :)

We went to the L'pool Empire when Jenn was about 3 to see/hear a late evening performance by Clannad, one Sunday evening. They were fabulous as we'd expected and it being about 1991 (?) they had a whole section of Robin songs in the middle. Their support act was a gorgeous long-haired Irish lad called Brian Kennedy so we've been fans of his ever since...what a voice! Jenn loved every minute though we were keeping her up late, and we had to miss the last encore and leave just before the end at 11pm in order to catch the last train home. Happy memories :)
