I haven't actually delved into the meme (although I may yet, despite being much more comfortable on DW than LJ these days), but I clicked through here after talking to you a bit about Feed. Do you mind if I add you? ^_^
I'm sorry I've not been back to the discussion over there - held off during the week's brainfog because I wanted to sit down and read everything at once. Sadly my Rot13 browser app didn't work out, so I've had to manage it with two tabs!
Ack! That sucks about the browser extension. :/ Can I ask which one you were trying out? (The only one I've had much personal experience with is LeetKey.) When I'm working on today's post later I'll try to make sure to at least only use Rot13 in chunks, to mimize the amount of fiddly little stuff to either skip or c&p back and forth.
Oh, technology. *sighs* So useful when it actually works.
I tried Rot13Decoder, but couldn't get it to work in Opera, so I've installed it in Chrome which I use as my secondary browser for work social media and Pinterest (it runs better in Chrome) and stuff. It's really good of you to do that, thanks! <3
Oh, crap, I completely forgot to check into Opera for Rot13 stuff. (Which is weird since I use Opera on my phone. O_o)
I know why various extensions are different for the different browsers, but it makes me grumpy. There are things I like about Chrome, but until they can produce something that manages tabs as usefully as TabMix Plus, I'm not budging off Firefox. (I have a serious tab problem.) But I assume there are extensions and add-ons that exist for the other browsers that no one's bothered to make available on Firefox, too.
