The tea story was hilarious! I do sympathize with the couple for being refused an extra teabag, but the explosion of righteous indignation was just so funny.
I agree with the first line, though: do not get between the Irish and their tea. My gran from (Co. Kerry) was a fiend for it (and liked it strong) and my Irish friends that emigrated to Stamford (my hometown) would pretty much drown you in tea when you came by for any reason. I got the habit from them, mostly. I rarely drink tea outside my house, though, since I prefer a pot and here, you get a cup of hot water and a bage of Tetley or Lipton. Not the best.
